Norway's Contribution to "The World Through Picture Books Project"
In relation to "The World Through Picture Books Project," which aims to create a list of picture books from around the world, librarians from all over Norway have voted for the ten best Norwegian picture books. NORLA has provided subsidies for the translation of several of these books into seven languages. See the ten titles below
IFLA's Libraries for Children and Young Adult section, Japan, took the initiative to develop an international list of picture books. Librarians were asked to nominate their favorites in the genre.
